So we have been posting several entries about the museums that we have been to in the past year, and we really appreciate the time you spent on reading them.
We have been contemplating on adding some new themes of entries, such as food posts and restaurant reviews. We know that #FoodPorn is widely used in social media, especially in Instagram, but we wouldn’t like to swarm you with loads of food photos, thus making you hungry in whatever time of the day it is or lose your appetite.
The restaurant reviews are going to be real and unbiased, based on our own experiences with a particular restaurant. We are not endorsing any brand, nor are we associated with such.
The very first review is the Early Bird Breakfast Club in Taguig City.
I went there, basically, for the Ultimate Grilled Cheese and Roasted Tomato Soup (PHP 325). The sandwich lived up to my expectations. The soup, on the other hand, for me, was kind of bland. I also love the lightly-flavored Hash Potatoes (PHP 80) and the interesting blend of Calamansi and Hazelnut iced tea (PHP 95).
The portions are generous and nicely plated. The interiors are pretty and tidy and Instagram-able (Even the washroom). The menu was out of the ordinary, though quite confusing. The staff is quite attentive.
Still and all, it’s a bit expensive to eat there, even if they serve comfort food and all-day breakfast; but it’s worth a try.
