Roaming around the streets of Binondo can be very tiring indeed. Good thing there is this place called Lucky Chinatown mall, where there are also some activities that you can do while you chill out and get away for a while from the hustle and bustle of the main streets.
The mall prepared a number of activities for people to do such as writing their wishes on a wooden tablet, walking under the lucky monkey while saying their wishes, etc., but most people really just take photos and eat.
There were shows inside the mall, showcasing talents of children from Chinese schools. In the midnight, there were fireworks display, just like what is usually done to ring in the new year.
It was definitely a fun and exciting trip, and also a new experience for us to celebrate CNY this year. We’ll surely come back again next year!
How about you, did you celebrate Chinese New Year too? How was it for you? Let us know in the comments.
